WeTunes is a mobile app designed to allow users to enjoy their favorite songs at the same time as their peers.
Users can create and join channels with friends and family, search for songs across the Apple Music Library, vote in real-time to adjust the queue, and of course, listen to their favorite music.
WeTunes was created to allow users to explore new music while creating a fun and exciting atmosphere across the platform as you can connect with your peers and share in your musical enjoyment.
The application was completely envisioned and conceived by myself. I created the initial designs in Figma, built a few prototypes, explored numerous music APIs as well as databases, used Swift the build the app, and worked with Apple to make the application available across all iOS devices.
WeTunes is built using Apple’s Swift language on XCode. The database used for song and user management is Firebase. Apple’s MusicKit API was used to connect users with Apple Music for searching and playing songs.
Pickture is a mobile application designed to allow freelancers to connect and communicate seamlessly.
The app features a home feed that is specifically targeted to each user. Posts are sorted by relevancy, location, and time to give each user a useful and convenient experience.
Notifications are sent out when a direct message is received as well as for new activity on posts. Users can create multiple types of posts to cater to the context of information. They can also use In-App Purchases to boost posts to reach larger audiences.
This application was envisioned and designed by myself; however, being my first app, the development was outsourced. I do not have access to the source code.
Pickture is available on both the iOS App Store and the Google Play store.
